The Edo State House of Assembly summoned 2Baba’s wife, Natasha Irobosa, the lawmaker representing Egor Constituency, to appear before the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges.

She must report within one week to respond to allegations of misconduct linked to viral videos circulating online.

Viral video sparks investigation for 2Baba’s Wife

A video showing Natasha Irobosa in a heated exchange with her husband, Nigerian music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, recently went viral. The clip triggered strong reactions on social media, particularly from 2Baba’s fans.

The Speaker of the House, Blessing Agbebaku, said the lawmaker’s conduct damaged the Assembly’s image. He stressed that lawmakers must always act with dignity.

“Hon. Natasha Irobosa has been summoned due to her recent conduct which has been trending online,” said Agbebaku.
“Her actions dragged the House into disrepute, and we will not tolerate it.”

Ethics Committee will review 2Baba’s Wife’s conduct

The Ethics and Privileges Committee will investigate the situation and submit its findings within two weeks.

Natasha Irobosa, a first-term legislator, gained public attention through her ties to the entertainment industry. She focuses on community development and women-focused initiatives in Egor Constituency.
