Lawyer Rita Amy has shared her thoughts on the ongoing public drama surrounding Nollywood actors Frederick Leonard and Peggy Ovire’s marriage.
Addressing recent claims, Amy attributed the couple’s split to alleged disrespect and arrogance on Peggy Ovire’s part. She stated that Peggy reportedly refused to submit to her husband, which led to the breakdown of their union.
Amy also dismissed rumors that Frederick Leonard had multiple affairs, including with married women in the industry. She described these allegations as “false” and “a big lie.”
In a video statement, Amy said, “Frederick Leonard’s wife was very disrespectful, arrogant, and refused to submit to him. That’s why their marriage ended. Peggy Ovire claimed Frederick cheated with multiple women, including several married women in the industry, but that’s not true and a big lie.”
Her remarks come as public interest in the couple’s relationship continues to grow, fueled by accusations and counter-claims following their separation.
