United States Justice Department Releases FBI Memos

United States Justice Department released three FBI memos on March 5 2026. These memos detailed interviews with a woman who accused President Donald Trump of sexual assault in the 1980s. The documents had been missing from a larger batch of Epstein files made public earlier.

Justice Department Explains The Delayed Release

Department officials stated the memos were incorrectly coded as duplicative. They posted the files online after a review. The release followed months of scrutiny from Democratic lawmakers who questioned whether the department withheld materials related to Trump.

The memos summarized four FBI interviews conducted in 2019. Agents spoke with the woman from South Carolina shortly after Jeffrey Epstein’s arrest that year. In the first interview she described abuse by Epstein but did not mention Trump.

The woman told agents Epstein began abusing her physically and sexually when she was about 13 years old on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. She said her mother faced blackmail from Epstein. She also reported receiving threats for years afterward including phone calls and near accidents on the road.

Allegation Against Trump Emerges In Later Interviews

In interviews from August and October 2019 the woman added new details. She said Epstein drove or flew her to New York or New Jersey when she was between 13 and 15 years old. There Epstein introduced her to Trump inside a tall building with large rooms.

According to the memos Trump asked others to leave the room. The woman said Trump told her something to the effect of “Let me teach you how little girls are supposed to be.” She alleged he unzipped his pants forced her head toward his penis and attempted to make her perform oral sex. She bit him. He then pulled her hair punched her on the side of the head and said words to the effect of “get this little bitch the hell out of here.”

The memos noted she heard Trump and Epstein discuss blackmail and money laundering through casinos but provided no further details on how the incident ended.

The FBI summaries did not state whether agents found the claims credible. No charges resulted from the allegations. The woman filed a lawsuit against Epstein’s estate in 2019. She dismissed it in 2021 after a settlement. She did not name Trump in that suit.

White House Rejects The Claims

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called the accusations completely baseless. She said they came from a woman with an extensive criminal history and lacked any credible evidence. Leavitt added “The total baselessness of these accusations is also supported by the obvious fact that Joe Biden’s department of justice knew about them for four years and did nothing with them because they knew President Trump did absolutely nothing wrong.”

President Donald Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein or the woman’s claims. Authorities have never accused him of involvement in Epstein’s sex trafficking operation as reported by ALO360.

Release Follows Congressional Pressure

Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee pressed for the documents. Representative Robert Garcia of California the top Democrat on the panel had earlier questioned the completeness of the Epstein files. The committee voted to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi over the handling of the records.

The Justice Department maintained it produced all responsive documents except those that were duplicates privileged or tied to ongoing investigations. Officials said they continued to review files for victim privacy and personally identifiable information.
