Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has officially launched the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation. Which an initiative aimed at discovering and nurturing young music talents in Nigeria.
The launch event attended by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State. Also highlighting the growing collaboration between government and the creative industry to support the next generation of Nigerian artists.
Partnership with Berklee College of Music
As part of the initiative, the foundation will collaborate with Berklee College of Music. Being one of the world’s most prestigious music institutions. Together, they plan to host a four-day music development programme designed to identify and train promising young artists across Nigeria.
The programme will provide participants with professional mentorship, music education, and industry exposure, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed in the global music industry.
Empowering the Next Generation of Artists
Tiwa Savage said the Music Foundation created to give talented young Nigerians opportunities that many aspiring artists often lack. Which included such as access to structured training, mentorship, and international industry connections.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap between raw talent and professional development. Also ensuring that young creatives have the support needed to transform their passion into successful careers.
