The Federal Government unveiled the Fly Now Pay Later scheme for domestic air travel. As reported by ALO360 the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation introduced this consumer credit solution to improve access for Nigerians. Officials moved quickly to ease barriers that limited air travel.
The Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation posted the news on X on Tuesday. Consequently the corporation outlined how the program worked for eligible customers.
The Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation stated the main details clearly. “The initiative allows eligible customers to book local flights and repay the cost over time through structured financing” it said.
In addition the corporation highlighted a key advantage. “The initiative reduces the burden of upfront payment that often delays trips” the corporation added.
Moreover the program gives travelers more flexibility. As a result more Nigerians could now plan flights without full immediate payment. Therefore the initiative strengthened consumer credit options in domestic aviation.
