Pepsodent launched its 2026 World Oral Health Day campaign themed Do The 2. As reported by ALO360 the leading toothpaste brand held a press conference on March 16 2026 at Unilever head office in Lagos. Consequently officials collaborated with the Nigerian Dental Association to promote strong oral hygiene habits among Nigerians.
Press Conference Unveils Campaign Details
Ms Aisha Bello addressed the media as brand manager for Pepsodent at Unilever Nigeria. Moreover she explained the core message of the initiative. “Do The 2 means brush day and night to keep teeth and gums healthy every single day” Ms Aisha Bello stated.
In addition the campaign targets schools communities and families to build lasting brushing routines.
Nigerian Dental Association Joins Forces
Dr Olusegun Ogunlade spoke as president of the Nigerian Dental Association. Therefore he endorsed the partnership during the event. “The Nigerian Dental Association supports this drive because brushing twice daily cuts the risk of tooth decay and gum disease significantly” Dr Olusegun Ogunlade explained.
As a result both organisations agreed to run joint activities nationwide.
Campaign Focuses on Habit Formation
Pepsodent designed the Do The 2 Brush Day and Night campaign to reach millions of Nigerians. Furthermore the brand will use radio spots social media and school programmes to spread the message.
The launch occurred just days before World Oral Health Day on March 20 2026. Consequently the timing aimed to build maximum awareness.
