Israel DMW has once again shown why fans admire his loyalty to Davido. The logistics manager gave the singer and the entire 30BG crew a warm welcome after they arrived in Lagos on a private jet. The heartwarming moment quickly caught the attention of fans online.
A video shared on Israel’s Instagram page captured him waiting on the airport tarmac for Davido’s arrival. As soon as Davido stepped out of the private jet, Israel began showering him with praises in his usual energetic style. The clip has since gone viral, with many fans calling him the “real 30BG hype man.” His excitement also reminded many people of the special bond he shares with the Afrobeats star.
Their friendship has grown beyond work over the years. Earlier this year, during a livestream with Carter Efe, Davido described Israel as more than a staff member. He said,
“Though many people mock me and Israel, he is one of my best friends and someone I can cry to.”
Even when rumours of a fallout surfaced last year after Davido unfollowed him on Instagram, the pair quickly proved everything was fine. Israel later joined Davido in Canada for his tour, while the singer also gifted him a Rolex watch.
However, their relationship has not been without challenges. In July 2025, reports claimed Davido’s management and family stopped Israel from joining the singer’s Five Tour over alleged misconduct. Despite the rumours, Israel has continued to publicly appreciate Davido. He recently thanked the singer for giving him a better life while sharing clips from a private jet trip to Abuja. He also celebrated receiving his US visa, joking that
“America is 46 minutes from Heaven.”
Once again, this latest airport reception has reminded fans that the bond between Davido and Israel DMW remains as strong as ever.
