Asake flaunts new Maybach luxury car collection days after First Lady Remi Tinubu urged Nigerian musicians to support the less privileged through charity.
Nigerian Afrobeats star Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake or Mr Money, has once again caught fans’ attention. This time, it is because of his latest luxury ride. The singer recently added a brand-new Maybach to his growing car collection. Lagos luxury dealer Polanco Exotic Cars announced the delivery on Instagram. The company also thanked Asake for choosing them for his premium luxury experience.
Interestingly, the purchase came only a few days after First Lady Remi Tinubu appealed to top Nigerian entertainers to invest more in charity. While speaking at a public event, she praised Senegalese-American star Akon for his humanitarian work. She also mentioned Asake, Burna Boy, Davido and Wizkid. According to her, successful musicians should create foundations to support struggling Nigerians. She said,
“I want to appeal to our young ones in the entertainment industry. I have mentioned it before, and I will use Akon, a music icon who does a lot of great charity work. They make the Burna Boys of this world, the Asakes, Davido, all of them, we want to see you with one foundation or the other, helping the poor with your money.”
The First Lady admitted that celebrities deserve to enjoy their success. However, she reminded them that giving back should also be a priority.
“Good cars are good, a Maybach is good, a Rolls-Royce is good, but still, you can help the people,” she added.
Meanwhile, neither Asake nor Polanco Exotic Cars revealed the exact model or price. However, reports claim the singer bought the 2026 Mercedes-Benz Maybach SL 680 Monogram, valued at about ₦1 billion.
Meanwhile, Asake is enjoying another successful year. He is currently on his In God We Trust world tour following the release of his fourth studio album, M$ney. Fans have continued to celebrate his latest achievement online. At the same time, many have reopened conversations about wealth, luxury and the importance of supporting the less privileged.
