ADC Fixes April 14 for National Convention

The African Democratic Congress fixed April 14 for its national convention. Party officials announced the timetable for nationwide congresses on Saturday.

Bolaji Abdullahi Issues Statement

Bolaji Abdullahi released the statement as spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress. Consequently he explained the purpose and sequence of events.

Bolaji Abdullahi said the exercise formed part of the party’s constitutional process to renew leadership structures across all levels. “The exercise is part of the party’s constitutional process to renew leadership structures across all levels” he said.

Congress Schedule Unveiled

The timetable began with polling unit and ward congresses. Moreover it progressed to local government and state congresses. In addition it culminated in the national convention on April 14.

The African Democratic Congress arranged the stages in order. Therefore the process renewed leadership from the grassroots upward.
