The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock.

The board delisted over 20 computer-based test (CBT) centres due to technical glitches.

JAMB disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday by Fabian Benjamin, the board’s spokesperson.

He said candidates who participated in the mock examination can check their results by sending MOCKRESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used during registration.

According to the board, a total of 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination, out of which 152,586 candidates successfully sat for the test.

JAMB said the exercise was conducted across 989 CBT centres nationwide.

The board said it identified technical challenges in some centres during the examination and subsequently delisted over 20 of them due to inadequate infrastructure.

It warned candidates to avoid fraudulent individuals or groups, particularly on WhatsApp, who claim they can influence or inflate examination scores.

JAMB described such claims as false and criminal, adding that any candidate found engaging in such activities would have their registration cancelled.

It added that where such infractions are discovered after the examination, the affected candidate’s result may be withheld or withdrawn.

The board said the main UTME is scheduled to commence on April 16, 2026.
