Nigerian comedian Koboko has expressed anger over a heartbreaking video showing a woman mourning her husband. Who was reportedly killed by bandits. The same attackers also claimed the life of a corps member, adding to the tragedy.
Reacting to the incident, Koboko criticized public figures like Seyi Law and King Mitchy for supporting the APC-led government. He pointed out past claims by Reno Omokri and Seyi Law, where they described Nigeria as one of the safest countries to live in.
After sharing the videos, comedian Koboko questioned whether Nigeria could truly be called safe, given the ongoing violence. He argued that the country has shifted from being a place to live to a place. Where people are merely struggling to survive.
Koboko didn’t hold back in condemning Seyi Law, King Mitchy, and Reno Omokri for downplaying Nigeria’s security issues. He also mentioned that Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, had visited northern regions to distribute food. Although, failed to address the lack of protection for those living under constant threat.
The comedian suggested that many who defend the government do so because they haven’t personally experienced the insecurity. He warned that even the wealthy and influential are not immune to tragedies that money cannot fix, emphasizing the struggles of families in affected areas.
