Media consultant Mrs. Ronke Kolawole has declared her support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s second term. She praised the governor’s work in improving infrastructure and social welfare across Ekiti State.
During a private tour of projects in Ilawe Ekiti, Mrs. Kolawole described the town’s transformation as “really breathtaking.” She added that Ilawe Ekiti has “never had it so good, as far as infrastructure and socioeconomic development are concerned.”
Kolawole Commends Oyebanji’s Development Efforts
Mrs. Kolawole, a former Deputy Director of News at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), said the new look General Hospital in Ilawe is one of the governor’s major achievements.
She said: “One of the marvel of Ilawe Ekiti is the new look General Hospital, which had hitherto been consigned to a mere consulting clinic.” The facility, she explained, now provides better health care and serves more residents.
Roads and Infrastructure Boost Local Growth
Kolawole also praised the rehabilitation of the 20-kilometre Ilawe–Ikere road. She described it as a vital link that has improved business and daily travel in the area.
She said: “With joy in my heart, after my private tour, I made my way out of the hospital to the welcoming arms of the 20-kilometre stretch of the newly rehabilitated Ilawe/Ikere road, which almost became jinxed before the governor took it up.” Kolawole urged Ekiti people to continue supporting Governor Oyebanji. According to her, consistent support will sustain peace and progress in the state.
