Former Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, introduced as a second-half substitute, made an immediate impact. The 23-year-old pounced on a lapse in concentration from Matthijs de Ligt, converting a pinpoint cross from Alex Iwobi with his very first touch to bring Fulham level in the 73rd minute.

The goal ensured a second straight draw for Marco Silva’s Fulham, while Manchester United are now two games without a win, piling early pressure on Ten Hag to turn things around.
