Ghana ‘Noah’ Explains Why Predicted Christmas Flood Did Not Happen

The Ghanaian man who drew global attention after predicting a world-ending flood on December 25, Ebo Noah, has explained why the prophesied disaster did not occur.

Ebo went viral in August after claiming he received a divine warning of a catastrophic rainfall that would last three years and begin on Christmas Day. According to him, the flood would wipe out the world.

He also constructed a large wooden structure, which he named the Ebo Noah Ark, saying God instructed him to build it as a place of refuge.

Ark Project Drew Global Attention

Videos of the expanding ark circulated widely on social media. As a result, the prophecy attracted intense media coverage and visitors from across Ghana and other countries.

Ebo urged people to repent and prepare for the impending disaster. However, the predicted flood did not occur on December 25.

New Vision Changed the Outcome

In a video statement released on Thursday, Ebo said he received a new revelation after what he described as intense prayers, fasting, and consultations with other religious leaders.

According to him, the vision showed that the number of people seeking refuge in the ark far exceeded its capacity.

“God reveals to redeem,” Ebo said. “When I saw the number of people coming from all over the world, the ark could not contain them.”

More Time Granted to Build Additional Arks

Ebo explained that he pleaded with God for intervention. Subsequently, he said God granted him more time to build additional arks.

He added that he shared the vision with other religious leaders, who joined him in intercession. Following the prayers, he said the deadline for the disaster was extended.

“After the intercession, God has given us some time to build more arks that will contain all of us,” he stated.

Public Urged to Remain Calm

Ebo warned members of the public not to rush to the ark’s location on December 25. He stressed that he was neither selling tickets nor collecting money.

“Nobody should rush anywhere,” he said. “I am not selling tickets, and I am not taking money from anyone.”

Instead, he urged people to remain calm, celebrate the festive season, and continue to reflect and repent.

“Please stay home. Enjoy yourself. Have fun,” Ebo said. “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The ark is still there. Repent.”

Comparisons With Biblical Noah

Ebo’s actions have drawn comparisons with the biblical Noah, who built an ark to survive a flood believed to have destroyed the ancient world.

Despite the controversy surrounding his prophecy, Ebo insists that his message remains valid and that further instructions will come in time.
