Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs set for an earlier prison release.
The 56-year-old music mogul, who was originally schedule to be release on June 4, 2028. Will now walk free on April 25, 2028, according to Page Six.
This update comes as Combs continues to fight his four-year sentence, which stems from charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
His release date moved up after he joined a drug rehabilitation program last November, which helped reduce his prison time.
This isn’t the first time his release date has changed.
Currently serving his sentence at Fort Dix in New Jersey. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs previously had his release pushed back from May 8 to June 4, 2028. The delay followed a rough start to his incarceration in late 2025. Including allegations that he drank moonshine and made an unauthorized three-way call.
Since transferred to the New Jersey facility on October 30, Combs has reportedly faced several infractions. One claim suggested he caught drinking a mix of fermented Fanta, sugar, and apples. However, his representatives denied these allegations.

“His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family.”
