Ben Affleck has reportedly given up his entire stake in the $60 million mansion he bought with his ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez—and he did it for free, according to sources.
Court documents show the former couple updated their property settlement agreement to include a “transfer of property among spouses.” While the paperwork doesn’t reveal specific details, insiders say Ben Affleck handed over his full share of the luxury home. Without asking for any payment, essentially walking away from tens of millions of dollars.
The mansion, purchased in May 2023 for over $60 million in cash, has also had millions spent on upgrades. Despite being listed for sale since July 2024—shortly before Lopez filed for divorce. The property has struggled to find a buyer. Originally priced at $68 million, the asking price was later reduced to $52 million, but it still remains unsold.
Lopez currently lives in the mansion while renovating another home she recently bought. Affleck’s decision to relinquish his share may be tied to his strong financial position. Reports suggest he recently sold his AI company, InterPositive, to Netflix for approximately $600 million, making it easier for him to absorb the loss.
With Lopez now holding full ownership, she could benefit financially if the property eventually sells.
