Reza Farahan recently opened up about a past relationship with Bob Harper, sharing how their friendship turned into a complicated romantic situation.
In his memoir, Memoirs of a Gay Shah, Farahan revealed that the two first met while working in the fitness industry. They quickly became close and developed a casual, friends-with-benefits relationship. However, Farahan admitted he had hoped for something more serious, which never materialized.
Now married to Adam Neely, Reza Farahan explained that he decided to keep things casual after realizing Harper wasn’t interested in a deeper commitment.
The situation grew more complicated when Harper married his partner, Scott. Despite this, Farahan stayed close to both men, and their dynamic eventually evolved into a threes0me. He described the experience as “bittersweet” but emphasized that he held no resentment toward Scott, who has since passed away.
Reza Farahan shared that he and Harper remain on good terms and even recently collaborated on the sale of Harper’s home. Reflecting on the experience, Farahan said it became a turning point in his life, helping him realize he wanted a committed and loyal relationship rather than being someone’s second choice.
Harper has also acknowledged their past, once describing it on television as a “tawdry little” situation.
