American rapper Cardi B has called out credit card thieves after noticing suspicious activity on her account.
The artist took to Instagram Live to express her frustration, revealing that her Amex card went missing about two weeks ago. Shortly after, thousands of dollars in unauthorized charges began appearing.
Cardi shared her shock, saying, “Why do I see a $40,000 purchase from Saks on my Amex? Then, 35 minutes later, there’s a $20,000 charge at Apple. Some weird stuff was happening.”
She added that her accountant immediately flagged the issue and contacted her.
“As soon as we noticed the strange activity, we shut down the credit card completely,” Cardi explained.
The rapper also claimed to have surveillance photos of the suspects and vowed to do everything in her power to ensure they face justice.
