Social media is buzzing with reactions to the reported death of Denisi, widely known as Ego222 on Instagram. Denisi said to be a close friend of Nigerian music star Davido.
The news was first shared by Joel Heugh Booysen on his Instagram Stories. Booysen posted several photos of himself with Denisi, expressing deep sadness over the loss of Ego222.
While the cause of Denisi’s death hasn’t disclosed, Booysen described him as a dear friend and shared how painful the news was. In his heartfelt tribute, he revealed that Denisi had moved to South Africa to be with him and had formed strong bonds during his time there.
“Love you always, my broski. This one pains me… Cape Town be crying, brother. Wake up abeg,” Booysen wrote in part of his message.
As of now, Davido has not publicly commented on the news. However, the two seemed to share a close bond. In December, Denisi posted about his pride in Davido, and the singer acknowledged the post.
