“FG Launches Free Training for 10 Million Nigerians to Boost Income & Digital Skills”

Nigeria’s Presidency, under Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has launched an ambitious nationwide programme to train 10 million Nigerians in financial, digital skills, and entrepreneurial skills.

The initiative designed to improve financial inclusion, empower citizens with practical knowledge, and drive economic participation across all regions of the country. Registration is already open, giving millions of Nigerians a chance to access free, high-impact training.

What Participants Will Gain in the Digital skills

The programme goes beyond basic education—it focuses on real-world, income-generating digital skills. Participants will trained in:

  • Financial literacy (saving, investing, budgeting)
  • Digital skills for today’s economy
  • Entrepreneurship and business development

Registration and onboarding are being coordinated by WAWU Africa through a dedicated portal, making it accessible nationwide.

The programme officially flagged off by Vice President Kashim Shettima during a virtual session with the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion.

It supported by major institutions including the World Bank, African Union, ECOWAS, and National Information Technology Development Agency.
