Popular Nigerian businessman and social commentator, Isaac Fayose, has shared his thoughts on reports of a recent gathering by the City Boys movement in Imo State.
In a statement posted online, Fayose questioned the timing of the meeting. He expressed doubts about Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s chances of gaining significant support in the South-East region.
He boldly stated, “I can assure the City Boys Movet that Bola Ahmed Tinubu will never get 20% of the votes from the South-East, except if the election is rigged.”
Fayose also raised concerns about the purpose of the gathering, asking, “Has the campaign started already? Why are they gathering in Imo State?”
His remarks have stirred up conversations online. With supporters and critics debating Tinubu’s political influence in the South-East as the country looks ahead to future elections.
