Amandi is a director and former chairman of the Enugu State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.

On Monday, the Defence Headquarters confirmed the plot.
The military admitted that some officers planned to illegally remove Tinubu from office.
It said all indicted officers would face military judicial panels.
Independence Day Parade Cancellation
On October 1, 2025, the federal government cancelled the Independence Anniversary parade.
The event was scheduled to be held at Eagle Square, Abuja.
The government gave no clear reason at the time.
Later, media reports linked the cancellation to a coup plot.
