Items Recovered During Raid
The agency recovered various expired items from the sites. These included 80,000 packets of non-alcoholic beverages, 5,000 packets of dairy milk, 16,000 packets of bottled water, and 28 cartons of pasta. Additionally, officials found candies and other assorted products ready for distribution.

The warehouses stood around Ndazabo White House along Minna Road and behind Bida Modern Market. NAFDAC’s Investigation and Enforcement Directorate led the enforcement action. They targeted facilities involved in illegal storage and distribution of expired consumables.

Sayo Akintola, Resident Media Consultant for NAFDAC, issued a statement on the raid. Akintola stated: “The key figures from the operation includes 18 warehouses sealed; N100 million plus estimated value of expired products recovered.”
Meanwhile Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, Director-General of NAFDAC, highlighted the agency’s commitment through a statement. Adeyeye said: “NAFDAC has sealed no fewer than 18 warehouses in Bida, Niger State, following the discovery of large quantities of expired food and beverage products.”
