NetNaija CEO Emmanuel Analike Arraigned Over Copyright Infringement

The CEO of NetNaija, Emmanuel Analike, has brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja over claims of copyright infringement.

The Nigerian Copyright Commission charged Analike with several offenses. Including owning, copying, and sharing pirated movies and music on the NetNaija website.

During the hearing, Analike pleaded not guilty to the charges.

After his plea, the court ordered that he remain in custody. At the Kuje Correctional Centre until his bail application reviewed.

The case has postponed, with the court setting March 9 as the date to decide on his bail.
