Nigeria Needs God's Mercy to Overcome Its Challenges, Enenche Says

Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Worldwide, declared that Nigeria required God’s mercy to address its problems. He made this statement in Makurdi, Benue State, on February 9, 2026. Enenche spoke to journalists after he arrived for a two-day Healing and Deliverance Crusade.

Enenche Highlights Insecurity and Other Threats

He stated, “We live in a nation at a time when we need nothing but the mercy of God, whether it is the challenge of insecurity or any other situation threatening to consume the land.” Therefore he called on Nigerians to seek God’s mercy to avoid destruction.

Moreover Enenche referenced the Bible. He quoted, “The Bible says it is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassion does not fail; they are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness.” This verse supported his plea for divine compassion.

Appeal to Leaders and Citizens

Enenche urged leaders to act responsibly. He said, “Let the leadership of our nation and leaders at all levels take responsibility and have a heart for human beings.” In addition, he advised everyone to trust God for intervention while performing their duties.

Furthermore, Enenche encouraged a shift in focus. He stated, “The Bible says they looked unto Him and were enlightened, and their faces were not ashamed. Therefore let us look away from ourselves and other alternatives and look up to God.” This message aimed to inspire hope through faith.

Outreach Programme Provides Aid

The church organized a week-long outreach from February 2 to February 7, 2026. Activities occurred in Ankpa, Kogi State, and Gboko and Makurdi, Benue State. The programme included crusades, prayers, and deliverance sessions.
