Ray J has sparked concern after his latest performance. Where what appear to be blood was streaming from his eyes.
This comes shortly after the 45-year-old American star revealed he doesn’t expect to live beyond the next year.
In late January, Ray J shared on social media that he’s been battling severe heart failure. Caused by heavy binge drinking and drug abuse. Earlier this year, he was in hospital in Las Vegas for pneumonia and heart pains. He reveal he “almost died” after treated for a serious lung infection back in 2021.
Over the weekend, the “One Wish” singer performed at an intimate Valentine’s Day concert in Shreveport, Louisiana. While he appeared to be in good spirits, handing out roses to fans, his current state left many worried. He wore sunglasses during the performance, but what looked like blood was dripping from underneath them.
Videos of the performance quickly circulated online. But it’s unclear whether it was actually blood or just a dramatic stage effect.
Ray J—whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr.—also seem to have medical dressing on the upper left side of his chest. When he unzipped his orange jumpsuit to reveal his torso. Fans speculate he might have a heart monitor fitted, though this hasn’t confirmed.
Despite these concerns, Ray J brought high energy to the stage. Even jumping into the crowd to sing among his fans.
Later, in a backstage clip filmed by a friend, Ray J smiled at the camera and reassured everyone he was “fine.” He jokingly told his friend, “Don’t laugh at me for being sick. That’s not fair … don’t do that. Ain’t nobody sick. Look at me, I’m fine.”
After the videos surfaced on TikTok, fans expressed their worry.
