Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has said she has no plans to marry another man following the breakdown of her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress said the experience left her traumatised. As a result, she no longer believes in the institution of marriage.
Her comments followed renewed attention to the couple’s troubled relationship. The crisis became public in October after a viral video showed Daniels in tears. In the clip, she accused her husband of domestic abuse.
Nwoko later claimed that his wife was battling drug and alcohol addiction. Daniels admitted to using hard drugs. However, she accused the senator of pushing her into addiction as a means of control and manipulation.
‘Nope! Traumatised With That Institution’
Amid the fallout, Daniels recently shared a video of herself dancing to gospel music on Facebook. She captioned the post with a declaration of faith.
“God is my guyy shaaa, and I’m his special last born,” she wrote.
The post attracted mixed reactions from followers. Many asked direct questions about her future.
When a user, Ayariga Prosper, asked if she would consider marrying a “better” man, Daniels replied bluntly.
“Nope! Traumatised with that institution.”
Actress Hints at Separation From Children
Daniels also appeared to confirm that she currently has no access to her children.
A user, Ijeoma Okebaram, suggested that her posts were meant to “pepper” her estranged husband. The commenter also asked how she coped without her kids.
Daniels dismissed the idea of revenge. She said her posts reflected personal healing.
Earlier, Senator Nwoko stated that he does not want Regina Daniels to return to their home. The comment further fueled speculation about the future of their marriage.
