Rivers State Governor Announces 90 Percent Completion of Major Road

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara announced that the 33.5 kilometre Elele-Umudioga–Egbeda–Ubimini-Ikiri–Omoku Road reached 90 percent completion. As reported by ALO360 the governor delivered the update in a direct statement to the public.

Governor Siminalayi Fubara reviewed the project status. Consequently he confirmed the remaining work and fixed the handover date.

The governor gave precise figures on progress. “The 33.5km Elele-Umudioga–Egbeda–Ubimini-Ikiri–Omoku Road has reached 90 per cent completion” Governor Siminalayi Fubara stated.

In addition he outlined the final timeline. “The road will be ready for the inauguration in May” he added.

Officials pushed contractors to finish the last segment. Therefore the project team worked around the clock to meet the target.
