Fuji music icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has pushed back against critics questioning his bid for the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland. He stated that his royal bloodline qualifies him to vie for the throne. His official declaration for the K1 De Ultimate Awujale bid was submitted in a letter dated December 3 to the Funsengbuwa Ruling House. Musician Traces Heritage to Two Ruling Houses K1 traced his ancestry to the Oba Jadiara line under the Funsengbuwa dynasty.
