Tiwa Savage Draws The Line Over Influencer’s Post About Her Son

Singer Confronts Online Criticism Head On

Tiwa Savage, one of Nigeria’s most influential Afrobeats artists and a prominent figure in the global music industry, has issued a firm public warning to a social media influencer following comments involving her son, Jamil Balogun.

The warning was delivered on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, after an influencer identified as Dami Foreign made a post referencing the singer’s child. The post read, “Omo, Why’s tiwa savage son frowning?”

Direct Warning Sparks Online Attention

Reacting swiftly, the singer responded directly to the post, cautioning the influencer against making any future references to her child and indicating that further action would follow if the behavior continued.

“I dare you to post anything about my child again and THIS WILL MOVE BEYOND TWITTER,” Tiwa Savage wrote.

Unlike previous instances where she had remained silent, the artist made it clear that involving her son crossed a personal boundary she was unwilling to tolerate.

Pattern Of Repeated Remarks Resurfaces

A review of the influencer’s previous posts reveals a consistent pattern of remarks aimed at the singer over several months. On January 3, 2026, Dami Foreign had commented on her age, while a post dated September 23, 2025, suggested a decline in her career following her professional separation from Wizkid, the internationally acclaimed Nigerian musician.

Earlier, on May 19, 2025, the influencer had also questioned the singer’s age in another post that drew attention online.

Savage Alleges Sustained Online Attacks
In a follow up post, Tiwa Savage accused the influencer of engaging in a prolonged campaign against her, stating that she had previously ignored his actions until they involved her child.

“You see that I never cared about your paid agenda to bring me down and you’ve been doing it for a long time. You talking about my child is crossing the line,” she wrote.

The singer also made a serious allegation, claiming that the influencer had once expressed a wish for her to die young.

“Dami with my FULL CHEST e no go better for you. You even posted that you wanted me to die young…. Back to sender,” she added.

Debate Over Online Conduct Intensifies

In another post, the artist dismissed what she described as the influencer’s obsession with her public persona, stating, “The obsession with me is loud but your relevance is missing.”

The exchange quickly went viral, drawing responses from social media users who debated the limits of criticism, freedom of expression, and the growing concern over cyberbullying involving public figures and their families.

The incident has further fueled discussions around responsible online behavior and the need to protect minors from becoming targets in digital conflicts.
