The tech entrepreneur Blord posted a billboard on the picture and audio of the controversial social media activist. He posted the picture of VeryDarkMan (VDM) over his new Ratel app, causing buzz in the online Nigerian space.
The billboard, which Blord posted in the social media as a part of his marketing campaign, has elicited responses due to the ongoing feud between the two personalities. VeryDarkMan (Martins Vincent Otse), is a famous social critic and influencer in Nigeria. While Blord (Linus Williams Ifejirika) is a cryptocurrency investor and technology entrepreneur.
It starts in 2025 when VeryDarkMan goes public accusing Blord of selling refurbished iPhone XR units as iPhone 17 Pro units at an exorbitant price they argue Nigerians are being swindled and overcharged. Blord rejected the scamming accusations and the controversy spilled over into an online confrontation.
Their rivalry over right to brand the name Ratel escalated. Although VeryDarkMan had been referring to his fan group by the name before Blord trademarked his name to use as an app designation. Their competition was fuel legal and public discussion of the right to own the mark.
