Abuja-Based Singer Who Died From Snake Bite to be Buried on Valentine’s Day

The family of singer Ifunanya Nwangene, popularly known as Nanyah who died from snake bite. Has made known her burial arrangements after her death.

However, Nanyah died on January 31, 2026 from snake bite in her house in Abuja. She succumbs to the snake bite after she allegedly sent away by two separate hospitals in which she not given any anti-venom.

Also, The obituary and burial information announced on Instagram by her brother Kingsley Nwangene through his profile, @official_kaybaba1. He also put up a farewell message that captioned, If I do not see you again. Fans, friends and other people in the music industry sent messages of condolence through the post.

The announcement states that a service of songs will take place on February 10, 2026. At Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Abule Oshun, Dansa, Lagos, starting at 4 p.m. A requiem mass held at the same place by 6 p.m.

On February 14, 2026, Nanyah buried in her hometown in Enugu. There is a thanksgiving service in her honour scheduled to be held on February 15, 2026.

Previously, The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Jabi, Abuja, addressed the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of Ifunanya Nwagene. A talented soprano singer known as Nanyah, who succumbed to severe neurotoxic complications from a snake bite on January 31, 2026.

The hospital firmly rejects allegations of negligence, inadequate care, or unavailability of anti-snake venom. Describing such claims as unfounded and misleading.
