Vivo X Fold6 Tipped To Launch With New 200 MP camera, Multispectral Sensor

The X Fold6, a new foldable phone by Vivo, is soon to be launched. The company has not issued any official announcement. But, one of the leakers claims that the next X Fold will have two significant camera enhancements.

Vivo has approached its foldables in a different manner compared to its regular flat phones. It markets the X300 and X300 Pro all over the world. The X Fold5 was also not launched in a wide scale as other competitors like Honor, Samsung and Google did last year.

The X Fold5 was also outperformed by other phones. Since it was powered by the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The X Fold6 is supposed to rectify that, as people expect. The rumors indicate that it should utilize the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Which is already present in the phones such as the OnePlus 15R priced at $699 on Amazon.

The leaker Smart Pikachu also asserts that main camera will be 200 megapixels. And the sensor will be multispectral to give the X Fold6 a greater colour accuracy. Whether the 200-MP sensor is going to be in the prime or in a telephoto Zeiss-tuned lens is yet to be made clear. Moreover, no indication that the X Fold6 will sell globally as the Find 6 does.
