Casio has released the new Vintage LA680WEL-1 watch in the US, following its recent launch in Japan. This digital watch has a streamlined face, surrounded by silver colored casing and accompanied by a genuine leather strap. Features include a precise stopwatch, an alarm and an automatic calendar.
The Casio Vintage LA680WEL-1 watch is now available in the US. This sleek black and silver model was first launched in Japan, along with a second gray and silver version, the LA680WEL-8A2.
Part of Casio’s new Vintage LA680 series, the watch features a silver chrome-plated resin bezel paired with a black genuine leather band embossed with a stylish pattern. Casio describes the design as “sophisticated.” It’s also lightweight, weighing just 15 g (~0.5 oz) and measuring 33.5 x 28.6 x 8.6 mm (~1.3 x 1.1 x 0.3 inches).
The LA680WEL-1 has a clean digital display that shows the time in either 12-hour or 24-hour formats, along with the date and day of the week. Its automatic calendar ensures accuracy within 30 seconds per month. Additional features include a daily alarm, hourly time signals, and a 1/100th-second stopwatch. The amber LED backlight makes it easy to read in the dark, and the watch is water-resistant for everyday use.
You can purchase the Casio Vintage LA680WEL-1 now from Casio’s US online store for $54.95. However, it’s unclear if or when this model will be released in European markets like Germany.
