Janarious Wheeler, better known as Lil Poppa, has tragically passed away at the age of 25.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner in Georgia confirmed his death on Wednesday. February 18, at approximately 11:20 a.m. local time, as reported by TMZ.
Authorities have stated that the cause of death is still under investigation.

Just five days before his passing, on Friday, February 13, Lil Poppa released his latest single, “Out of Town Bae.” He also set to perform in New Orleans in March as part of his upcoming schedule.
Poppa signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG), a label that also represents Grammy-nominated artist GloRilla.
The talented rapper gained widespread recognition in 2021 with his hit song “Love & War.” Featured on his album Blessed, I Guess. In the track, Lil Poppa opens up about his feelings for a love interest. While expressing his desire to protect her from harm in a world filled with violence.
