Iran Hits Kurdish Groups In Iraq As Conflict Widens

Iranian Forces Launch Missile Strikes

Iranian Officials Defend The Operation

Kurdish Groups Condemn The Attacks

A spokesperson for the Kurdish Democratic Party of Iran issued a statement. He said “This unprovoked assault on our positions will only fuel further resistance.” He continued “We call on the international community to hold Iran accountable for violations of Iraqi sovereignty.”

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al Sudani responded quickly. He said “Iraq demands an immediate end to all foreign military actions on its territory.”
