Union Bank of Nigeria Employees Stage Health Walks

Union Bank of Nigeria employees gathered at the bank’s head office in Marina on Saturday February 28 2026. They walked together to the bank’s facility in Surulere. Staff members know this location as The Stable.

The group moved at a steady pace through the city streets. Lagos operations manager Kunle Adeyemi joined the walk. He said “This walk gave us the perfect way to finish the month on a healthy note.”

Enugu Employees Cover City Routes

Meanwhile employees in Enugu undertook a similar health walk across several parts of the city. They started early in the morning and stayed together throughout the route. Many workers from different departments took part. Enugu regional coordinator Ifeoma Chukwu participated in the activity. She said “The Fitfeb program encouraged many of us to stay active and energetic.”

Bank Holds Fitness Parties the Day Before

The day before on Friday February 27 the bank held fitness parties in Lagos Abuja Port Harcourt and Enugu. Employees celebrated together in each city. These events built team spirit before the final walks.

Fitfeb Program Ran Throughout February

Union Bank of Nigeria launched the Fitfeb wellness initiative at the start of February 2026. Staff members joined daily stretch sessions at noon. In addition they attended health webinars and aerobic classes across all branches.

Human resources director Ngozi Okeke reviewed the program. She said “Employees embraced the Fitfeb initiative throughout February. The health walks allowed teams to celebrate their efforts together.”

Furthermore the health walks wrapped up the month-long program successfully. Employees showed strong commitment in both cities. Bank officials coordinated the activities smoothly and provided support along the routes.

Participants completed the exercises with high energy. The events strengthened bonds among colleagues. Union Bank of Nigeria staff returned to work motivated after the Saturday finale.
