Four Suspects Arrested Following Burglary at Los Angeles Home Reportedly Owned by Brad Pitt

Authorities in Los Angeles announced on Tuesday that four individuals have been taken into custody in connection with a residential burglary that occurred earlier this summer at a property in the Los Feliz neighborhood. The home is reportedly owned by Academy Award-winning actor Brad Pitt.

According to police reports, officers responded to a break-in at the residence on June 25. At the time, it was reported that the suspects gained entry by smashing through a front window. Once inside, they allegedly ransacked the home, causing damage and fleeing the scene with various items of undetermined value. Law enforcement described the stolen goods simply as “miscellaneous property,” but did not provide further details regarding the nature or worth of the stolen items.

Suspects apprehended

On Tuesday, LAPD Officer Drake Madison confirmed that detectives working on the case had made four arrests. While the identities of the suspects were not immediately released, Madison indicated that their names may be made public later in the day as the investigation progresses.

Despite media reports linking the residence to Brad Pitt, law enforcement officials stated that they could not officially confirm who owns or resides in the property. Additionally, they offered no comment on whether the break-in was a targeted attack or a random incident.

Worth of Brad Pitt’s Home

Real estate records referenced by Traded, a commercial property database, suggest that Pitt purchased the Los Feliz home for approximately $5.5 million in April 2023. The high-profile actor has previously owned other homes in the same upscale neighborhood, known for its celebrity residents and historic architecture.

Brad Pitt away at the time of incident

A representative for Pitt declined to issue a statement when reached for comment on Tuesday. The actor was reportedly out of the country at the time of the incident, engaged in an international press tour promoting his upcoming racing film, F1.

The case remains under investigation, and authorities have yet to disclose whether any of the stolen property has been recovered. Further updates are expected as more details about the suspects and the circumstances surrounding the burglary become available.
