Trolls who intend dragging Nigeria’s First Lady, Remi Tinubu online may just be wasting their time because she has revealed not to follow conversations on social media.
She spoke on Thursday while hosting an interfaith Iftar/Lent breaking of fast for Muslim and Christian women. Remi urged women to adopt girls from disadvantaged backgrounds who they will teach morales and modest dressing.
Giving the charge, she said, “Help them even if it’s to give a scholarship, teach them leadership, teach them how to be of good behaviour
“Teach them good virtues; teach them how to dress well because we see that our young people like (to) open their bodies. I don’t read social media so it doesn’t bother me. I will take it again; teach them how to cover up because being naked is not beauty.”
The First Lady added that “our men God will also help them and crucify their eyes,” jokingly acknowledging that the line will trend on social media.
