Civilians urged to flee as military operations escalate against Hezbollah.

Southern Lebanon evacuation warning amid Israeli airstrikes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has issued an urgent evacuation warning to residents in southern Lebanon, calling on those living south of the Zahrani River to move north immediately as airstrikes intensify.

In a statement shared on social media, IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the military was conducting operations with “significant force” in the area. He warned that remaining in place could put civilians and their families at serious risk.

The IDF said the strikes are targeting positions linked to Hezbollah, which it accuses of ongoing militant activity in the region. According to the military, these actions have made forceful intervention necessary, though it stressed it does not intend to harm civilians.

Residents were advised to evacuate immediately, marking one of several similar warnings issued in recent weeks as tensions continue to rise along the Israel-Lebanon border. The area south of the Zahrani River has become a focal point in the escalating conflict.

The latest developments highlight the growing intensity of military operations and the increasing risks faced by civilians caught in the crossfire.

The situation remains fluid, with further escalation likely as both sides continue to exchange hostilities.
