Seun Kuti Rules Out Reconciliation
Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has declared that his disagreement with Afrobeats star Wizkid will last forever.
The singer said he has no plans to reconcile with Wizkid because of comments made about his late father, Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
How the Dispute Started
The feud between both artists began after Seun Kuti warned fans against comparing Wizkid to Fela.
Wizkid later responded by claiming he was greater than the late Afrobeat pioneer.
The exchange sparked heated reactions across social media and among music fans.
“It Is On for Life” – Seun Kuti
During a recent podcast interview, Seun Kuti made it clear that he would not forgive the singer.
When the host asked if both artists had settled their differences, Kuti gave a direct response.
“It is on for life. I don’t have anything to say about him but it is on for life,” he said.
“You don’t say things about my dad and then it is fine. There is no coming back from that.”
Fans React to Ongoing Feud
The singer’s comments have triggered fresh reactions online, with fans debating the long-running disagreement between both music stars.
While some supporters backed Seun Kuti’s loyalty to his father’s legacy, others called for peace between the two artists.
Neither Wizkid nor his management has responded publicly to Seun Kuti’s latest remarks.
