President Bola Tinubu has appointed National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu to lead Nigeria’s delegation to the US–Nigeria Joint Security Working Group, a move that aims to strengthen defence cooperation between both nations. According to him, the joint working group was created after senior Nigerian officials visited Washington to deepen bilateral collaboration.
