Barcelona staged a comeback to defeat Atletico Madrid 3-1 at Camp Nou in their latest La Liga match.
Alex Baena gave Atletico the lead in the 19th minute with a brilliant breakaway goal. However, Barcelona responded quickly, with Raphinha equalising after a precise assist from Pedri.
Lewandowski misses penalty, Barcelona takes control
Robert Lewandowski missed a penalty before half-time, but Barcelona regained the lead midway through the second half. Dani Olmo scored with a well-placed strike that put the hosts ahead.
Ferran Torres sealed the victory in second-half stoppage time, finishing from close range to make it 3-1.
Barcelona extends lead at the top
The win moves Barcelona four points ahead of Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table. Atletico Madrid sits two points behind in fourth place.
The result strengthens Barcelona’s position in the title race as they continue to challenge for the championship this season.
