Bayern Munich and France star Michael Olise is making headlines for reasons away from football. The 24-year-old has been accused by his former girlfriend, Fatima Zaunbrecher, of neglecting their 20-month-old daughter. She also claimed he failed to pay an agreed €2,000 monthly child support. The allegations surfaced shortly after Olise impressed fans during France’s 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign. However, neither the player nor Bayern Munich has publicly commented on the matter.
According to German newspaper Bild, Zaunbrecher, 34, said she met Olise in London in 2022 while he was playing for Crystal Palace. She claimed they dated for two years before ending their relationship. Two weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant. A paternity test later confirmed Olise as the father, and he reportedly acknowledged their daughter, Aaliyah Noor. Despite that, Zaunbrecher alleged the footballer has never met the child. She also claimed he only communicates with her through lawyers.
“It devastates me how unfeeling someone can be toward their own child,” she said.
The child’s mother also accused Olise’s legal team of offering what she described as a “ridiculous sum” for child support. She claimed one lawyer even advised her to buy second-hand clothes for their daughter to reduce expenses. Reports said Olise’s representatives later arranged a €2,000 monthly child support plan. However, Zaunbrecher alleged the payments have not been made.
“He doesn’t speak to me either and simply sends his lawyers in his place.” Another of his lawyers wrote to me suggesting I should buy second-hand clothes for the little girl,” she said.
Meanwhile, Olise’s representatives strongly denied the allegations. They claimed Zaunbrecher had earlier asked a French court to award her €60,000 monthly in alimony but did not succeed. They also insisted the Bayern Munich winger is willing to support his daughter. According to them, both sides have simply failed to reach a final agreement. For now, these remain allegations and have not been independently verified.
