It reads in part: “I am pleased to provide an update regarding the administrative progress regarding the match bonuses for our national team at AFCON 2025.
“The Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) have successfully streamlined the foreign exchange processing to ensure our players are rewarded without further delay.
“There was in-house bonus row that threatened to detail the team’s preparations for Saturday’s quarterfinals game against the Desert Foxes of Algeria.
The winner of the clash will face Morocco or Senegal in the semifinals.
