A powerful tornado struck Rio Bonito do Iguaçu on 7 November 2025 late in the afternoon in the state of Paraná. Severe winds reached speeds of about 250 km/h. However, the tornado cut across quickly through the town center. Residents were met with sudden chaos. Roaring winds and flying debris were clear signs. So it caught many people off guard.
Wide ranged Hassles
The tornado destroyed nearly 80 percent of the town. It overturned cars and destroyed homes extensively. However, fallen trees blocked all the roads now. But it was really shown in aerial shootings that seem very destructive. Whole neighborhoods disappeared under the wreckage. Therefore, the infrastructure was severely damaged.
Quickly Raise Casualties
Officials confirmed six deaths thereafter. More than 400 people were injured when the storm roared through. As a result, dozens ended up in hospitals for treatment of serious injuries.
