Three people have been killed after bandits attacked Kasabo community in Saminaka, Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The attack reportedly occurred in the early hours of Monday, with the assailants arriving in large numbers and forcing many residents to flee through nearby bushes. A resident, Aminu Salisu, said the attackers succeeded in killing three people before retreating to their hideout.

The attack has triggered grief in the community, with residents calling for stronger security measures to prevent further attacks.
Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris visited the community on Tuesday to condole with residents and the families of those killed. The governor described the incident as a tragic and unacceptable act of violence against innocent citizens. During the visit, Idris donated N116 million to the families of the victims and residents of the affected community.
He also assured the people that his administration would continue to strengthen cooperation with security agencies and take measures to protect lives and property across the state.
