Popular Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has stirred fresh reactions online after revealing that he no longer wants to work with Nigerians. The influencer, who relocated abroad nearly two years ago, shared the reason behind his decision in a statement that quickly gained attention on social media. According to Bobrisky, his experience abroad has completely changed how he sees life and relationships.
Speaking on the issue, Bobrisky said many of his disappointing experiences involved Nigerians.
“I don’t think I want to work with Nigerians anymore. Too many people are dishonest and only around when they need something from you,” he said.
Although he refused to mention names, he explained that living abroad has helped him become more focused and intentional.
“Living abroad for almost two years has changed my mindset. I’ve become more sophisticated, more intentional, and I don’t see myself lowering my standards to go back and forth with anyone,” the socialite added.
Bobrisky first left Nigeria in early 2025. At the time, he said he needed peace and better mental health. Since then, he has often praised his new environment. He believes he now enjoys more respect and acceptance than he did back home. He also compared life abroad with the challenges he faced in Nigeria, including constant criticism and unstable electricity.
“Why would I want to leave a place they appreciate, love, care for me to a place I will be bullied,” he said in an earlier statement. He also expressed frustration over his encounters with authorities and the public attention he received in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Bobrisky’s latest comments have sparked mixed reactions online. Some fans applauded his focus on personal growth and peace of mind. Others questioned his decision and disagreed with his views. Even so, the influencer appears convinced about his future. While he once described his relocation as temporary, he now says Nigeria will only get short visits.
For now, Bobrisky continues to share updates about his new lifestyle and insists he has no plans to return to his old way of living.
