Brandy to Headline Flytime House of R&B Concert in Lagos

Grammy-winning singer Brandy will headline Flytime’s House of R&B concert in Lagos on December 20, kicking off the Detty December festivities.

American R&B star Brandy Norwood will headline the House of R&B concert in Lagos on December 20. The Grammy-winning singer will perform at the Eko Convention Centre as part of Nigeria’s popular Detty December celebrations. The concert will kick off Flytime’s festive entertainment programme, bringing international music excitement to Lagos.

Following Brandy’s performance, music fans can look forward to more exciting events. Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged will take place on December 21, while Flytime Fest runs from December 22 to 24. Flytime Circle will round off the lineup on December 25. According to Flytime Chief Executive Officer Cecil Hammond, Brandy remains one of R&B’s most influential voices. Her performance will set the tone for the company’s December events.

Meanwhile, Flytime Chief Operating Officer Keke Hammond said the programme would feature six nights of entertainment. Each event will offer audiences a different experience throughout the festive season. Before arriving in Lagos, Brandy will perform in South Africa. Her scheduled shows include Cape Town on December 14 and Pretoria on December 17 and 18.Known to fans as “The Vocal Bible,”

Brandy has influenced generations of R&B artists with her signature vocals. She has collaborated with artists such as Ty Dolla $ign, Kehlani and Josh Levi. This year, she also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition, her memoir, PHASES, became a New York Times bestseller. Her Lagos appearance adds to the list of international music acts expected in Nigeria this December.
