The viral corn seller has withdrawn her ₦2.5 million monthly income claim, saying it was only content. She is now asking Nigerians for help.

The roasted corn seller who recently went viral for claiming she makes ₦2.5 million every month has now changed her story. In a new video, she admitted the statement was not true. According to her, it was only content made to entertain people.

“Make una no vex, na content. I never make that kind of money,” she said.

She also asked Nigerians to forgive her for the claim. The woman explained that if she truly earned that amount every month, she would not still be standing under the hot sun selling roasted corn. She went further to clear the air, saying,

“I’m making ₦2.5 million, yet I’m still standing under the sun? Since I started this corn business, I’ve never made that kind of money. Nigerians, please help me.”
